Tallie is a nutrition and wellness application that helps you log meals, scan foods, track hydration, monitor streaks, and receive AI-assisted nutritional insights.

## 2. Information We Collect
We collect only the information necessary to provide and improve the App's features.
### 2.1 Information You Provide
- **Profile & goals:** Information you enter such as age, sex, height, weight, activity level, and nutrition goals.
- **Food and meal data:** Meals, food items, portions, and hydration entries you log.
- **Photos and camera input:** When you use the food scanner, images you capture are processed to identify foods. We do not use your camera for any other purpose.
- **Messages to AI features:** Text and food data you submit to the in-app AI analysis chat.
### 2.2 Information Collected Automatically
- **Usage and device data:** App interactions, feature usage, device model, operating system version, language, and crash/diagnostic data, used to maintain and improve the App.
- **Push notification tokens:** A device token used to deliver notifications you have enabled.
### 2.3 Purchase Information
- **Subscription and purchase data:** When you purchase a subscription, transactions are processed by Apple App Store / Google Play and our subscription provider (RevenueCat). We receive purchase status (e.g., active/expired entitlements) but **never** receive or store your full payment card details.

- Generate AI-assisted nutritional insights and analysis you request.
- Deliver notifications and reminders you have enabled.

- Diagnose problems, prevent abuse, and improve the App's performance and reliability.
We do **not** sell your personal data.

## 4. Third-Party Services
To operate Tallie, we rely on trusted third-party providers that process certain data on our behalf:
- **Firebase (Google LLC):** Push notifications and diagnostics/analytics.
- **RevenueCat, Inc.:** Subscription management and purchase verification.
- **Apple App Store / Google Play:** Payment processing for in-app purchases.
- **AI processing provider(s):** Text and food data submitted to AI features are processed to generate responses.
Each provider processes data under its own privacy policy. We encourage you to review their policies.

## 5. Photos and Camera
Food scanning requires camera access, which you explicitly grant. Captured images are used solely to identify foods and provide nutritional information. We do not access your photo library beyond images you choose to use within the App.

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. Much of your data (such as your logs) may be stored locally on your device. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
